At The Lost Sierra Lodge, we value your trust. This policy explains how we handle information when you explore our website, contact us, book a stay, use our digital guidebook, or enter the Golf Legends Classic.
We use information to provide guest services, respond to inquiries, administer reservations and activities, and communicate with people who have agreed to hear from us. We do not sell guest or subscriber contact lists or provide them to unrelated businesses for their independent marketing.
Information we collect & how we use it
You may provide your name, email address, contact details, reservation dates, guest count, accommodation requests, booking preferences, and information submitted through an inquiry, guidebook, or tournament form.
Authorized booking and payment providers process reservation details, payments, applicable fees, and information needed to manage your stay under their own policies. Website services may also process technical details such as IP addresses, browser and device information, referral sources, pages visited, and interactions.
We use this information to answer questions; administer bookings; send check-in instructions and stay communications; provide guidebook access; manage guest requests; improve the website and guest experience; verify tournament entries and scores; fulfill awards; send permitted marketing; protect guests and property; and meet legal obligations.
Email & marketing choices
You do not need to subscribe to marketing to browse this website or send a Lodge inquiry. Submitting the website contact form does not subscribe you to promotional emails.
If you choose to subscribe through a designated signup, updates may include seasonal availability, direct-booking offers, local events, golf getaways, Lodge news, and future competitions.
Golf Legends Classic registration requires a separate, expressly identified agreement to receive promotional emails from The Lost Sierra Lodge. Review the registration disclosures and Official Competition Rules before entering.
You may unsubscribe using the instructions in a marketing email or by contacting us. Necessary reservation, stay, entry-verification, and prize messages may continue. Under the current competition rules, withdrawing marketing permission after registration does not invalidate an otherwise eligible entry or earned prize.
Service providers & external websites
We use Framer for website hosting and native inquiry forms; Hospitable Direct for reservations and guest communications; and TouchStay for our digital guidebook and linked Lodge Assistant. The Golf Legends Classic uses Jotform for scorecard entries and authorized scoring and communications services.
Booking and payment services, maps, email delivery, and other enabled integrations may process information needed to provide their services. We share information as reasonably necessary for guest services, authorized activities, business records, security, and legal obligations. We do not authorize unrelated independent marketing of our guest contact lists.
These providers and linked golf courses, restaurants, attractions, and other independent websites have their own privacy policies and terms. Review them before providing information.
Golf Legends Classic information
Competition records may include participant names and emails, reservation references and stay dates, courses and tees played, round dates, gross strokes, signed scorecard photographs, registration agreements, and prize information. Authorized providers process these details to administer and verify the competition.
As disclosed in the separate Official Competition Rules and entry agreement, public results may show the golfer’s name, round date, course and tees, total gross strokes, course-adjusted Golf Legends Score, and overall or course rankings. Live standings are provisional until final verification.
Email addresses, reservation details, mailing addresses, and uploaded scorecard photographs will not be publicly displayed. Optional photographs, stories, or testimonials require separate authorization. Review the complete rules before entering.

Exterior security cameras
For guest safety and property protection, the Lodge has two exterior cameras: one above the front entrance and one monitoring the driveway and parking area. They monitor exterior entry areas. There are no cameras inside the home or in private interior spaces.
Footage may be reviewed for legitimate safety, security, property protection, and house-rule verification. Access is restricted to authorized persons and service providers as appropriate.
Cookies, analytics & tracking
Framer provides built-in, cookie-free website analytics. Embedded booking services, maps, forms, and other third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies and process technical information when you use or load those services.
Pre-publication review: the complete cookie and script inventory, any advertising technologies, responses to Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and any required consent or opt-out controls still need to be verified against the deployed configuration. This draft does not represent that third-party services are cookie-free or that consent controls have been implemented.
Protection, retention & your requests
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, and disclosure. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information as reasonably necessary for guest services, competition administration, business records, disputes, and legal requirements. Retention varies by record and system. The competition rules provide additional retention terms for tournament records.
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain. We review requests under applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, reservations, or legitimate disputes. Additional rights and choices will be provided where required.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for people researching travel accommodations, guest services, and related activities; it is not specifically directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization. The competition’s separate rules address parent or guardian authorization for participants under 18.
